SHOT IN GARAGE

STRANGE CASE IN" SYDNEY

United Press Association—By Electric Tele-

graph—Copyright.

SYDNEY, 27th June.

In the shooting case in Simon Bros.' garage at Darlinghurst last April, the Coroner returned a verdict that Joseph Simon was murdered by his brother, William Simon, whom he committed for trial. The Coroner discharged Philip Malouf, who was under arrest on a charge of murder. The Coroner remarked .that it was a strange case. The murder could have been committed by any one of four persons. The evidence was extremely contradictory. There was an absence of motive, and there was a possibility that the bullet found the wrong mark.
