SALARIES OF CIVIL SERVANTS.
The possibility of the Government restoring the "cuts" made in the salaries of Civil servants, was mentioned in a question addressed to the Prime Minister (the Eight Hon. Sir Joseph Ward) in the House of Bepresentatives ~" yesterday afternoon by Mr. J. A. Nash. (Palmerston). _ Mr. Nash gave notice of Mb intention to ask the Prime Minister whether the Government proposed to introduce legislation this session dealing with the reduction made in.the-salaries of Civil servants by the Public Expenditure Ad» justment Act, 1922.
