REFERENCE IN BOARD'S REPORT
In a report of the Main Highways Board just issued, it is stated that no detailed or accurate reports were available to the board during its meeting as to the extent of the damage caused by the earthquake, but from such information as is available, the cost to restore the main highways will bo not less than £100,000.
