Fat Sheep—Twelve races penned, some good lines, being included. The big entry caused a slight, decline for heavy sheep, but lighter showed little change-, exporters buying freely. Extra prime wethers made to 47s 7d, prime wethers 33s to 375, med- «™ wethers 30s to 325: 9d, light wethers 27s L-to 29s 6d; extra prime ewes to 36s 7d prime ewes 29s to 325, medium ewes 23s to 275, light ewes 20s to 22s 9d, aged ewes 17s 9d to 19s 9d. '
:;"/Fa*; Cattle.—Four hundred ::and eighty .yarded, some, lines of excellent station cattle-being, included. There was a slight easing in values. Choicest beef made to '455, good. 40s to 445, heavy 37s 64 to 40s, medium quality 37s to 395, good cows 36s to 40s, secondary 30s to 335, and rough down to 27s per 1001b. Extra prime heavy steers made to £24 7s 6d, prime heavy steers £17 10s to £20, medium weight prime steers £15 15s to £17 15s, medium quality steers £12 15s to £1S 5s light steers £8 10s to £12 ss, extra prime heifers to £16 7s 6d, prime heifers £11 15s to £14 10s; medium heifers £d- 10s to £11 10s, light heifers £7 to ,£9; extra prime cows to £15 17s 6d, prime cows £11 10s to £14 ss, medium cows £9 5a to £11, light'and aged cows £6 to £9. Vealers.—A small entry.and a good demand. Best 12 to 18-months sorts made to £8 18s 6d, good vealers £0 to £7 10s, calves 2os to 40s.
Store Cattle.—A small entry of mixed character. Best cows made £7 to £8 4s, others £i to £6 15s; best steers to £10 16s; medium heifers, £3 11s to £6.
Dairy Cattlc.-r-A mixed entry of varied quality. For good cows at the" drop the demand was keen. Best second to fourth calvers made to £16 ss, medium second to fourth calvers £12 to £14 15s, others £8 to £10 10s; best spring heifers to £16, medium £11 10s to £13 15s, others £8 15s to £11 ss.
Pat Pigs.—A medium entry and little change in values. Choppers made 30s to £4 18s 6d, light baconers 56s to £3 7s, medium £3 10s to £3 17s 6d (average price per lb 5%d to 6d); porkers, 28s to 54s Od (average price per lb Gd to 7d).
Store Pigs.—Another small entry. There was a slight improvement in the value o£ medium stores. Weanors made 6s 6d to 10s 6d, slips 12s to 14s, small .stores 14s to 18s, medium stores 19s to 255, extra good stores to ,455. • ■
