WORKSHOPS NATALITY
ACCIDENTAL DEATH
The inquiry into the death of Henry Cooper, a boilermaker, who died from injuries received at the Hutt Eailway Workshops on Ist May, was concluded at Petone this morning, before Mr. J. S. Barton, Coroner. Mr: P. S. K. Macassey a,ppeared for the Railway Department; Mr. D. M. Findlay for Messrs. A. and T. Burt, Ltd;; stad Mr. 1 P.J. O'Regan for Harold Moon, who was injured'at the same time as Cooper.'. Senior-Sergeant E. J. M'Kelvey conducted the inquest. Further evidence was'given by P. Garden, traverser-driverj and' by an employee of A. ancl'.T. Burt, Ltd., named Keogh. ' The Coroner returned a verdict that the deceased .was accidentally killed by. being struck by falling water-heaters which had been knocked down by a moving railway wagon. .
