TRENTHAM TRACK NOTES
There is little activity at Trentham" these days, practically all the horses being restricted to easy pace work. This morning the trial grass was available, and horses with Trentham engagements and the yearlings strode along. The juvenile brigade are all progressing satisfactorily. .
Matu, with Tcheka, strode out over a mile. Matu appears to have made a good recovery. It is understood that he is to be schooled to-morrow, and if he shapes well will go on Thursday to fulfil his engagements in Hawkes Bay. .Half-miles at a good pace were the tasks allotted Money Mine, Last Ciust Half Acre, Glare, Quantum, and Battl* Torque..
Boi de Val was galloped five farlongg, accompanied over the last .half/mil* by Historic.
E. J. Murtagh is installed at Trentham with First Money under his care. . H. Telf ord is booked definitely to leave for Sydney early in July. H« will probably take six horses; »s Dresden China is likely to be added'to th« team;
