The Miners' Federation is prepared to stand firmly to its guarantee to the Federated Engine Drivers' Association and discipline any miners' lodge attempting to deal mflitantly with the safety men. The federation can stop food relief to men who are not prepared to abide by the Combined Unions' Committee's desire that the safety men be left at work. A Kurri Kurri message states that so far no violence is threatened but the military authorities are taking no chances. They have removed all ammunition and the bolts from rifles in the local drill-halls.
