AUCKLAND, .This Day. At the Police Court Charles Coward was fined the maximum under the Post and Telegraph Act, £.20, for sending offensive matter through the: post. It was stated that the defendant received a demand from a financial firm, for payment of money due.;. > He returned the firm's letter smeared -with, filthy matter. '
