Donovan (Bst 121b), of Waitara, took a points decision over Kid Smith (9st 51b),/of Stratford. In the third round Smith jarred his right hand, which had been sprained on the previous week,-and was kept on. the defensive for the remainder. of the fight. Donovan was never troubled,, winning easily ; without endeavouring .to punish his opponent seriously. . •. ;
