WHAT "THE TIMES" SAYS
'Times" Cables.
LONDON, 4th June. The Times" says: "Few will challenge or misinterpret Mr. Baldwin's' step. If it cleared the way for a Labour Government he -was only doing what the electorate had told him to do, namely, to give- the Labour Government its chance. . Mr. Baldwin's main anxiety was to do nothing to suggest that the Conservatives wished to trick the Labour Party of. the fruits of its vistory. He told the meeting of Ministers that he would accept the nation's decision' in favour Of Mr. 'Mac Donald without delay, and without negotiating with the Liberals to ascertain whether he could rely on their support if he met the House. There is little doubt that the King will invito Mr. MacDonold to form a Ministry, but it is not likely that Mr. Mac Donald will go to Windsor before'sth June."
