(By Telegraph.) (Special to "The Evening Post.")
AUCKLAND, This Day. "There is no truth in the rumour that I shall be returning to New Zealand to settlo here. I should like to very much, but I'm afraid I won't be able to. However, I hopo to come out this way again some day," said Mr. A. P. F. Chapman, captain of the M.C.C. team which recently completed their highly successful tour of Australia. Mr. and Mrs. Chapman left Auckland by the Niagara yesterday for Vancouver, en route to England, after two months' holiday in New Zealand. Mr. Chapman, who expressed himself as delighted - with his holiday in the Dominion, preferred not to make any comment on the new rules which are at present being tried in England "When next an English team visits Australia I should like to see a restriction of five days on the Tests, if, of course, the issue is undecided in the first four, the final match will have to be played to a finish." Mr. Chapman said that he, like all other English cricketers, was looking forward to Australia's next visit to England. Australia had' some fine colts, and he anticipated' some very entertaining crickot in the next Test series.
