MESSAGE OF LOYALTY

(By Telegraph.—Press Association.)

AUCKLAND, 2nd June. The Governor-General (Sir Charles Fergusson) has forwarded the following message for submission to the King on the occasion of His Majesty 's birthday:—

I beg to tender t6 Your Majesty the loyal and most respectful good wishes of the Government and people of New Zealand, on the occasion of Your Majesty's birthday, and a renewed assurance of the unfailing devotion of Your Majesty's subjects in this Dominion to the throne and person. All are concerned to hear of Your Majesty's indisposition, and trust that it will not retard the complete restoration to health to which Your Majesty's people have been looking forward.
