ME. JUSTICE POWERS, of the Australian High Court. Sir Charles Powers was appointed a Justice of the High Court of Australia in 1913. He held a seat in the Queensland State Legislature in 1888, and was Postmaster-General in 1889. He was for many years Crown Solicitor of Queensland, and was the first Crown Solicitor of the Commonwealth.
