CONFLICTING VIEWS

BERLIN, 2nd June. The "Vossissche Zeitung" declares that in the place from which Sir Austen Chamberlain has come, men are not following the policy of alliances and military power, but are striving for security and the alleviation of the taxpayers' lot by facilitating economy and co-operation.
The "Deutsche Zoitung" describes the election as a bluff. Germany must not expect a drastic change in foreign policy.
