OLYMPIC CLUB

The Olympic Club joined with the Hurt Valley Club to hold the weekly run oa Saturday. The run started from Brooklyn under ideal conditions. A total of 61 runners set out, being divided into two packs, under the leadership of W. Rao and T. M'Lorinan, who set a good pace. The eight lady runners went over: the course on their own. The course led tip to the monument, over towards Fitchettfß Farm, then down a long ridge and back home through Happy Valley. A very fast run-in resulted in a win for ' & Campbell (Olympic), with Matsb'a (H.V.H.) second, and Wilson and Watkins, of Olympic in the next two places* The runners were then entertained at afternoon tea, when Mr. Perston, president of the Olympic Club, welcomed the visitors. Jlr. Goodall replied on behalf of'the Hutt Valley Harriers.
