ANNUAL REUNION
DIVISIONAL SIGNAL COMPANY
Some 120 ox-members of the Divisional Signal Company, of whom 45 came from outside Wellington from as far afield as Kaipara Flat and Dunedin, gathered at the Basin Reserve pavilion on Saturday night for the annual reunion of the company. The secretary (Mr. P. Goira, Wellington) stated that he had circularised 435 members of the company, and 250 replies had been received. " The "Reveille" and "Fall in" was sounded by Bugler Legge, of Wellington, when the company had assembled; and the toasts included "The New Zealand Expeditionary Forces," "The Com- ; pany," "The Officers," "Fallon Comrades," and "The Visitors," all of which, were duly honoured.^ A hearty welcome was extended t'j the visitors by the chairman (Captaia P. B. Cooke), who stated that it was the second annual reunion of the company, the first, at which ninety members were present, having been heli'.l last year at Auckland. Members, in brief speeches; and mim to man across the tables, recalled various interesting incidents of the Gre at War.; and an enjoyable musical programme was provided by Messrs. R. Blow, J. Maude, and F. Andrews. The "Dismiss," sounded by Bugler Legge, brought the evening to a close. . ■
