H92, Columbus discovered tobacco. 1565, Sir John Hawkins brings tobacco into England. 1586, Ralph Lano, first Governor of Virginia, teaches Sir Walter Baleigh to smoko. 1848, Dill's Best creates sensation as new tobacco accomplishment. 1853, Wooden pipes appear on English market. 1868, First smoking apartments appear on railroads. 1876, Prince of Wales adjourns, with host, to stables for a smoke.
