OBITUARY

Tim death occurred on Wednesday, in lior eightieth year, of! Mrs. G. Mortou Anderson, widow of the late Dr. Charles Morton Anderson, of Christehureh. Mrs. Anderson was born uear Leicester, England. Sho was married in London in 1878, and in tho following yoar arrived at Lyttolton by tho ship Hereford, on which her husband was ship's surgeon. Settling first in Sydonham, they moved to Worcester strcot in 1594. About throo years ago the late Dr. and Mrs. Anderson took up residence in Graeefiold street. In hor younger days Mrs. Anderson was a keen croquot player and a prominent member of the United Club. Her death will bo deeply regretted by a wide circle of frionds. • Dr. Anderson predoceased hor by two years. She leaves a family of five sons.
