FIXTURES ON 3RD JUNE
NEW SOUTH WALES TOUR

AUCKLAND, This Day
The Hawkes Bay Rugby Asosciation has written to the Auckland Union protesting against the -New Zealand Union's decision to play a trial match on 3rd June, as it would interfere with a set of representative game's on that date. The union was in sympathy with the Hawkcs Bay protest.
It was also decided to advise Hawkcs Bay that unless the New Zealand Unioj could put forward a sound reason for an early tour to.Now South Wales this season the Auckland Union would support the Canterbury Union's motion that the tour be postponed for one month.
With reference to the New Zealand Union's proposal that, in view of the British team's tour next season all matches this season and next be played under international, rules, it was decided, at the request of several clubs, to hold a special general meeting next Thursday to discuss the proposal.
