The directors of Donaghy's Eope and Twine Company, Dunedin. report net profit, £9019 10s 3d; to which has to be added last-year's carry forward £28!)4 2s Bd. Jess interim dividend of 9d per share paid October, 1928, £1762 10s, £1131 12s Bd. This leaves available for distribution |£10,151 2s lid. The directors recommend the following appropriations: Final dividend of Is 3d per share, making -with the interim dividend of Od per share previously declared and paid, 10 per cent for the year, £2937 10s; place to dividend equalisation reserve account (making it l£5000), £2500; place to Auckland rebuilding account, £2000; carry forward '£2713 12s lid. The sum of £1813 Is 2d has been written off land, buildings, and I>lant. Directors retiring by rotation are Jleesrs. A. Bathgate and W. Gow, and fcoth. being eligible, offer themselves for re-election.
