Referring to the Southern Cross, h« said he believed that most of the Baarch 'planes flew too high, so that wtiile the field of vision widened objeo ts on the ground became indistinct.
Vhe Canberra's crew looked fit on arrival at Mascot, but had felt the cold severely.
