(Received 29th April, 1 p.m.)

LONDON, 28th April,

Mr. Ramsay MaeDonald, the Labour leader, launching ' the Labour Party's election campaign at a groat rally in the Albert Hall, said: "Unemployment bulks largest in the Labour Party's mind. Britain to-day is facing a complete revolution in transport, owing to the development of motors aud electricity, which the Labour Party believes must bo assisted or Britain will be unable to compote in foreign markets. Labour proposes to appoint a. committee over which tho Prime Minister will preside, and to which all questions of markets, currency, and industry will be referred. Roads would be built systematically and bridges broken down and reconstructed, and the railways reconditioned. We want peace in. Europe and diplomatic relations with Russia, which if it had committed ten thousand times the faults and crimes of which it.is accused, cannot be left, out by any far-see-ing man."
