Maso wired expressing regret that he had/been forced to land at Roanne, France, and iv getting off again the engine cut-oout.t t . and the 'plane hit a fence and trees', and turned completely over. The machine was wrecked. Mase had his face cut, but suffered no serious injuries. . '■ . .
