At the Transport Commission's meeting Mr. MeryynO'Gorman, vice-presi-dent of the Eoyal Automobile ■ Club, declared that the employment of red lights was almost , useless, :as; 25 per' cent, of the male population was practically or totally colour blind.' The use of the red light in connection with motor-cars should be abolished/be said. .It was an inheritance from the railway companies.
