A TRICK TO TRY.

Next time you have a birthday you can try this trick on one of your friends. I don't know, of course, how old you will bo next birthday, but let's suppose it is twelve. This is how you manage the trick. Say to your friend: "I was eleven last birthday, and I shall be thirteen on my next." Naturally your friend will say lie cannot make that out. Then, of course, you explain. "It's my birthday to-day. I'm twelve. So you see I was eleven last birthday, and shall bo thirteen next." Bather good, don't you think?
