SOMETHING TO MAKE.

Of course, you have o!.«en made furniture for your doll's house with the assistance of cardboard. But have you ever tried making it with wool, pins, and cork? It is great fun, and the dinkiest little sets can be made in any colours.

You need some nice fat corks. Cut a fairly thick slice off one and make a hole in the centre —daddy will do this for you with a gimlet Now thread a needle wtih wool, and work through the hole and over the edge of the cork again and again until it is covered. Stick four pins in one Bide of the cork for legs, and three across one side of the flat sido of the cork for the chair back. Thread wool in and out of these, and fasten off firmly. The table is made just like the chair—only without a back, and an armchair can be made with very long pins at the back and smaller ones at tho sides to form arms.
