SHORTT'S THEATRE.
' A spectacular picture, "Broadway Daddies," is now being shown at Shortt's Theatre. It is a drama of the idle rich at play and reveals tho secrets of their night clubs,- cabarets, business deals, and home lives. Tho story has been cleverly arranged for film purposes, and the plot development provides many spectacular scones and romantic . situations.' Jacqueline Logan, Alec B. Francis, and Rex . Leaso are featured in the production. Miss Logan has the role- of a dancing girl in a famous night club, who scorns the attentions of wealthy "daddies" for the lovo of a poor but ambitious youth. The young man, who poses as a poor boy, to te3t his love of the girl, is portrayed by Rex Leased Alec B. Francis is cast as tho boy's father. Phillips Smalley gives an exceptionally fine delineation of a "daddy." The second picture is "Modern Mothers," which deals with the lifo lived by those who seek notoriety and sensation. Helene Chadwick and Douglas Fairbanks aro in tho cast.
