JOHNSONVILLE SALE.
Messrs. Wright, Stephenson and Co., Ltd., and Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on Johnsonville Sale held yesterday, as 'follows:— - . To the usual'attendance of butchers we submitted a full yarding of all classes of sheep,' lambs'and cattle. Wethers and ewes were on a par -with last week's rates. The lambs offered' were of quality than-recent yardings, and met with keen competition. The quality of the bullocks generally ,was good, prices being on a par with last week's rates. There were only a few cows brought forward'and these met with a keen, demand. Vealers sold freely at late rates. We quote:— Bullocks: £12 15s, £13 2s Gel, £13 12s 6d, £13 15s, £14 2s 6d, £14 12s 6d, £14 17s 6d, £15, £15 2b 6d, £15 ss, to £15 10s.' Bullocks, ex'heavy,' £15 12s 6d to £16; vealers; £2 11s, £4 ss, to £4 10s; runners, £5 13s to £7 Is; fat heifers, £11 os; fat cows,' £11 10s; wethers, 30s 6d, 31s, 31s 6d, 32s .to 345; ewes, 23s Gd, 245, '24s (id, to 265; heavy ewes, to 275; lambs 23s 23s Gil, 2H, 255, to '25s Gd.
