ST. JOHN AMBULANCE ASSOCIATION.
Classes for instruction in first aid to the injured are now being formed, those for men commencing on Wednesday next and for Women on Thursday next. 1 The classes are open to all, and intending members are asked to enrol at the office of the association. * A knowledge of first aid work is easily obtained thrbugh the course of instruction '.set by the association, and, apart from the benefits to be derived from same, the lectures are extremely interesting. Tlie term covers a series of six lectures by a member of the medical profession^ in which the treatment' of all kinds of accident cases is dealt with and full instruction in bandaging and first aid work is given. A hygiene class is also being formed and is commencing work immediately^ and pupils who already .possess a knowledge of first aid and' home nursing are invited to communicate with the secretary, . from whom details' may be obtained.
