■ In the Magistrate's Court this morning Bernard Francis .Francis was ; charged with obtaining £966 10s from the Otagd and. Southland Finance Corpdration • by false pretences,' and with obtaining £2018 15s' 8d froni:.the -Mercantile. Finance Corporation 'of^Chfistchurch by false pi'etences. • A third, charge related to the forgery of two hire purchase agreement forms.- The offences,,took place.in 1926 and 1927. The accused pleaded guilty and: was : committed for sentence..; ' ,
