NEW PRINCESS THEATRE.
"Moulin Rouge" is now being shown at the New ■ Princess Theatre. The picture shows life behind the footlights of the Moulin rouge, the famous music-hall of Paris. Camille, daughter of the famous Moulin Rouge star. Parysia, brings her fiance, Marcel, to the theatre to see her mother act. The young man becomes infatuated with the star, but she is unaware of his love, and manages to persuade Marcel's father to withdraw the objection to marriage with Camille. Distraught, Marcel determines to take his life, and to this end he tampers with the brakes on his car. He collapses just before going out in it, and Camille drives into the country to find hla father. Marcel is horror-stricken when he regains consciousness, and a despernto- race to overtake Camille before accident brfalls her follows. The star of "Moulin Rouse" is Olga Tschekowa, a noted Continental actress, whose work i 3 a delight to watch. The second big picture is "The Devil Dancer," starring Gilda Gray.
