As a sequel to many months of pumping in Lake Nemi, tho poop of oiic of the Roman Emperor Caligula's galleys has been revealed, and the Italian ilag hoisted on it. The timbers are well preserved after nearly two thousand years' submersion. It is hoped to recover the wholo galley, also a second lying deeper in the centre of the lake.
