DUNEDIN, 31st-March

During the mouth of March nearly seven inches of rain fell in Dunedin. This was tho heaviest fall recorded for any month since April, 1923, when the fall was over eleven and a-half inches. The heaviest fall during March was nearly four and a-half inches on 20th March, when the low levels of the city were flooded and considerable damage done to dwellings and, property.
