Tho Annual Meeting of the Rlverton Racing Club opened to-day in. inclement weather conditions. There was a good attendance. The track was holding. The totalisator handled £17,521 10s, against £23,15G last year. Results :—

Trial Handicap, of 125 soys; seven furlongs. —4 Barney Google, 8.7 (B. Brodie), 1; 6 Eleanor Boiling, 8.5, 2; 3 Red Boa, 8.8, 3.
