WELLINGTON WIN SIUtiLU

By beating the Kelson Druids by 173 runs on the Kilbirnic "Reserve on Saturday, the Wellington Druids regain possession'of the shield presented by the late Mr. W. R. Fletcher for competition between teams representing the lodges in these two districts. Continuing their innings after the luncheon adjournment on Saturday, the visitors went on to make 131 in reply to Wellington's first innings score of 178. Wellington went in again, and greatly improved on their first effort. After 189 had been put on for the loss of three wickets, the innings was declared closed. Lewer played solidly throughout Wellington's second innings, and was unbeaten with 103 to his credit when the closure was applied. Useful scores were also contributed by Henderson ami Walker.
