BROADSIDING
MOKE CONTESTS TO-NIGHT.
Another big mooting is to be staged at tlio Kilbirnie Stadium Speedway to-night, when one of the principal events will be the match race between Miss Fay Taylouv, the English lady" champion, and D. Managli,' who won the New Zealand championship on Saturday night. There was very little difference between the times registered by the two competitors on Saturday, so that there should be a groat race to-night. Miss Taylour is. expected to make a big effort to turn the tables on the New Zealand champion. AH the leading riders are to appear iv the Great Easter Handicap and in the Big Mine Scratch Race. AY. Kilminster. who was in great form on Saturday, is likely to press the other main riders in the bid to secure the Golden Helmet from M. Graham (Australia): The winner of the Big Nine is to meet Graham in the Golden Helmet contest. Another event of note will be J. Arnott's attempt to lower the record for four laps, while it is also probable that fast times will be made in the match and other races. Miss Taylour is confident of giving an improved display-to-night. A big programme makes provision for B and C grade riders, and it contains more, events than was the case on Saturday night.
