Tlig two junior representative matches commenced at-the Basin Reserve on Saturday wore continued to-day. Tho match between the Mercantile League and a Wellington junior oleven concluded before tho. lunch eou adjournment, the juniors winning, by an innings and 27 runs. On Saturday the League compiled 82 runs, and to this tho juniors icplied with 251. The League fared a little better in their second innings this morning, but they could not go beyond 142. Whinhnm, with 39, was tho highest scorer. Details:—
