'VARSITS STUDENTS AND SMOKING. With the opening of the new term at the 'Varsity, a college reminiscence by Mr. Frank H. Wilson proves very interosting. "It was at college," he says, "that I learned to smoke Edgeworth. It was a sort of tradition for each fellow as he threw off the toga of boyhood and put on the cloak of young manhood to adopt the smoking of Edgewortb as a symbol of his entrance into man's estate. Being fortunate enough to enjoy the surpassing mildness and sweetness of Edgeworth right at tho threshold of bis smoking career, each yonng fellow as a general rule found any other tobacco unsatisfying and adhered to Edgeworth, and now, many years after, I find most of them smoking it still. —Advt.
