(To the Editor.) Sir,—As a former resident of Plimmerton who constantly had to make the journey by road via Paliautanui. I. am indeed pleased to see that a movement is on foot to try and persuade the Government, or the Hutt County Council, to put a road bridge over the estuary at Parcmata. I consider this to be a real necessity from the point of view of. the travelling public, and if others had had to expend the time and energy that I have done in travelling the sixteen unnecessary miles for fjie return journey, T feel sure they would feel in this matter as I do.
