A number of the local liugby football clubs have commenced training operations, iiud pranti'-e inatcbes arc to be held to-morrow afternoon. The following players will represent Oriental In a game with Hutt at Strand Park, commencing at 3 o'clock: Collinge, Davics, .Reid, T. Fox, Brown, Cruik, Smart, Wyniau, 11. Smith, Pinkcrton, Mills, L. Smith, Boltou, Cave, A. Ramsay, Umiford, Cairns George (2), Nalder. Tusker, Lochore. Hill, Stewart, F. B. Smith, Graham, J. Fox. Other Oriental players will play at Lyall Bay at 1.30 o'clock. Members and intending members of the Melroso Football Club are requested to be present at Crawford Green to-morrow at 2.30 p.m.
