EXPORTS MOUNTING UP
The exports side of the British cycle and motor-cycle industry continues to expand. The following official figjures show how healthy this expansion is.
For the ten months ended Oetobei, 1928, 53,477 motor-cycles and 281,379 cycles were exported to tho various overseas markets, as compared with 45,629 motor-cycles and 233,868 cycles for the same period in 1927.
On a similar basis motor-eycic parts exported advanced from £789,272 in 1927 to £1,077,721 in 1928, and cycle parts advanced from £1,362,193 in 1927 to £1,478,084 in 1928.
