SYNOPSIS OF LAST 24 HOUKS.
Pressure has continued, high in northern New Zealand and is now rising again generally, a wavo of low pressure having passed eastwards since last evening. The latter has been responsible for cloudy conditions and showers i.u v the west .coast and southern half of the South Island, and falls being mostly light, but heavy in parts of the Foveaux Strait region. Puysegur Point reports having had 212 points. Over the remainder of the Dominion the weather has been fair to flno and generally moderato to fresh winds between west aud southwest have ruled. "
