Butter.—Dull. Danish, 1795, 180s; choicest salted New Zealand, 166s to lC8s; Australian, 1665; unsalteds, New Zealand 176s to 178s, Australian 170s to 1745. Cheese: Quiet. New Zealand, white 80s, coloured SOsi .Australian 2s less.
The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Ltd., have received the following advice from thoir London house,' dated 13th March:—Dairy s produce (last week's quotations in parentheses): Butter, New Zealand choicest salted, 168s to 170s par cwt (170s) j market slow. Cheese, 88s to 90s per cwt (88s to 90s); market steady." Messrs. A. J. Mills and. Co., Ltd., London, under date. 14th March, advise Mr. G. A. Mills, Wellington, as follows:— "Butter.—The market is weak, with New Zealand finest at 166s to 168s, first grade 1645; Danish butter, 182s to 184s; ■Australian, 166s to 168s. Cheese.—This imarket is steady, and New Zealand white cheese is quoted at 89s, coloured cheese 905." t
