HUTT LAND SALE

A large number of buyers attended the auction sale of the Victoria Estate, held in the Dominion Farmers' Institute last night. Mr. Justin Power was auctioneer. Bidding was animated for the very finest and dry sections fronting Tui, Moa, and Kiwi streets and Beaumont avenue. There was no great demand for the sections fronting the Hutt road, preference being shown for the centre of the estate and Victoria street. About £10,000 worth of sections were disposed of.
