At the Leichhardt Stadium, Billy Thomas (lOst 61b), a Welsh boxer," outclassed the New Zealander, Vinco Parker (lOst 41b), in a fifteen rounds contest. Thomas possesses a wicked straight left, and also uses a right to the body freely, barker landed a heavy right on Thomas's jaw in the last round, and nearly knocked tho Welshman out. Thomas otherwise won practically every round.
