The interest of motor-cyclists in the new 1, sport of racing on the dirt track has been considerably increased by (he experience of the first meeting at the Kilbirnie Speedway Stadium,.and the result is that there are' many more competitors offering for .the second meetinc;, which takes place next Saturday nighL One of the new entrants will bo D. Managh, one of the Dominion's best grass track riders. The Australians, Gus Clifton and Max Graham, will again be competing, and at this meeting they. will both attempt to establish a record. Kilminster, who appeared to be the best of the local riders at the first meeting, i* expected to make an even stronger bid for the Golden Helmet, "and there are numerous other riders also keen on carrying off the principal honours. The winner of the Big Nine Scratch Race is to challenge Graham (Australia) for possession of the Golden. Helmet. The reserved accommodation hns been increased, and the plan is now/open.
