SYDNEY, This Day, The fellows and members of the new College of Surgeons of Australasia are holding a convention 1 in Sydney this week to consider domestic developments relating to the future work of the college in Australia and New Zealand. Sir Gorge Syme, of Melbourne, is president, and representatives are prsent from all the States of Australia and from New Zealand. The deliberations are private, and the conference concludes on Saturday. One problem that is receiving' attention ia whether in the interest of the higher training of surgeons arrangements should be made with the English College of Surgeons to send an examiner to this country. Some speakers expressed^ fear of fthe danger of Australasian surgical practice becoming Americanised.
