ARTCRAFT THEATRE.
"Sadie Thompson," Gloria Swanson's successful picture, which Is being shown at tho Artcraft Theatre, is based on ono of the most widely discussed stories of recent years. "Miss Thompson," by W. Somerset Maugham. It Is tho story of a tremendous emotional conflict between an outcast of San Francisco's underworld and a reformer. The picture was directed by Itaoul Walsh, who also plays the role of the Marine Sergeant O'Hara: other members of the cast being Lionel Barrymore, Blanche Friderlci, Charles Lane, Florcnco Midgley, James A. Marcus, and Will Stanton. Among tho supporting pictures is an episode of tho new "Greater Collegians."
