SAILORS' FRIEND SOCIETY
The.-programme presented by Miss K. .Ferns at the Sailors' Friend Society on Thursday was a popular one, and her. guests demanded recalls fur all. Light refreshments were handed round in an interval. -The/performers* wore Misses Boesley, Betty.Goodwin. Miriam Crcsswell, Taylor, and Messrs. G. C. Chambers, O'Brien, and Blay. Misses Boesley .and Taylor wore at the piano. Prizes for the'competitions ■ were presented by ..Miss .Belli -and they went "to ships leaving shortly.
