LONDON, 7th March.
At the wool sales 10,400. bales were offered, of which 5740 were New Zealand, comprising a medium selection of merinos and a splendid representative offering of greasy erossbreds. There was general competition with a keener tone, and.opening prices were confirmed. New Zealand offerings realised: Waikohu, 18% dto 17%t1; Bankhouse, 23V4d to 21d; London, 21d to 19d; Wharanu, 22dto 19d; Terata, I7d to 15% d; Alitio, 19>^d to 18Hd; Laosdowne, 22d to 21d;.Pare, 18d to 16% d.
